2020-21 School Year

We are looking forward to welcoming our students for the 2020-21 school year! The Accelerated Schools (ACES, TAS, WAHS) start on Monday, August 17 in Distant Learning mode.

Due to the resurgence of COVID-19 cases in Los Angeles County, LA County Health Department guidance, and LAUSD’s decision to begin the 2020-21 school year with no students on campus, the Accelerated Schools will start school on Monday, August 17 in Distant Learning mode until it is declared safe from LA County Health Department for students and staff to be on campus. Your school’s Principal will be sending more detailed information within the few days.

For the past several months, multiple working groups at TAS have been exploring a range of options for safely providing teaching and learning for students this fall. Thank you for your continued flexibility, patience, and trust as we prepare for high-quality student learning and safe reopening of our schools. We continue to plan for a safe re-entry of students on campus when it’s declared safe to do so. Please continue to check our website www.accelerated.org for important updates and links to resources.

Thank you!

As the situation evolves, we will continue providing updates to you here.

Please feel free to contact us with any question using TAS General Helpline (323) 238-5933 or
