Biography

Maritza Torrez, a Kindergarten teacher, received her B.A. in History from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2006. She also received her M.A. in Education from California State University, Los Angeles in 2011. Ms. Torrez has worked at The Accelerated School since 2007 and 2013 marks her second year of teaching. She enjoys working with students and their families on a daily basis and looks forward to learning as an educator.
